1940s Remington Model 5
Added 4 months ago by chiyochanrul via Kasbah Mod Rich with American streamline style, the curved-body Remington Portable 5, introduced in 1935, quickly became one of the most iconic machines of the era. With glass keys featuring white on black text, red accents and a technical proficiency to rival any of its competitors, the Remington Portable 5 is unstoppably cool. Allen Ginsberg, who wrote on a Remington Portable 5, said it all: "The typewriter is holy! The poem is holy!"
