Anni Necklace Kit 8A
Added 10 months ago by smallforbig via Anni Albers & Alex Reed This kit is based on an original piece from a 1941 traveling exhibition of common object jewelry by Anni Albers and student Alex Reed. Its clean and humble beauty speaks of a time of limited resources. During World War II, when materials were in short supply, Albers invented ways to create playful, elegant objects using simple components found in hardware shops and stationery stores. This DIY kit, which includes a set of petite washers and a randomly chosen hand-dyed silk Mokuba ribbon in a color selected by Anni Albers herself, is a Fab.com debut exclusive!
