Christian Bobst Print

Added 9 months ago by stephig85 via Christian Bobst Every morning Burmese monks, who are not allowed to have possessions, go from door to door with bowls, begging for rice. In 2007 thousands of monks stood up against the oppressive Burmese military junta, marching through the streets of Yangon and Mandalay while holding their begging bowls upside down. A photograph for those with a conscience, a portion of the profits from this print by Christian Bobst will be donated to Pencils of Promise, a non-profit dedicated to building schools in developing countries.
