Added 9 months ago via Axelhoney LA-based jewelry designer Melissa Contreras creates all of her pieces using an antiquated (and still amazing) wax and casting technique. This process, along with an oxidized patina, creates incredible shadows and gives the piece an inherently raw, unrefined look. The sterling silver Key Necklace first appeared around Alice’s neck in an Alice in Wonderland painting created by Contreras, herself.
