San Francisco Elephant Walk Tee
Added 10 months ago by sam_28920 via Long Lost Tees On May 21, 1979, following the White Night Riots, hordes of police arrived at the Elephant Walk to “even the score.” Acting without official authorization, they burst into the bar, smashing everything in sight and injuring many innocent people (resulting in years of expensive lawsuits for the city of San Francisco). In the fall of 1995, the bar was renamed “Harvey’s” in honor of Harvey Milk. This shirt from Long Lost Tees displays an exact replica of the bar’s original logo.
