Sand 13x19

Added 11 months ago by townsendrs via Evan Robertson Inspired by a line from one of artist’s Evan Robertson favorite books, The Sheltering Sky by Paul Bowles, this original illustration features the quote, “How many more times will you watch the full moon rinse? Perhaps twenty. And yet it all seems limitless." Above the quotation in this giclée print, sand spills through an hourglass leaving behind the shape of a crescent moon, while a new moon is created at the bottom of the hourglass.
