An idea drawn directly from Girard’s history of printing on wood and his interest in mixing new materials with classic folk forms, these square prints combine the purity of Girard’s graphics with the plainness of plywood, creating a piece of warm, accessible art. Each panel is composed of US-made sustainably harvested maple plywood and printed by hand with water-based inks.
