Vintage Sari Throw
Added about 1 year ago by superdumb via Fab This one-of-a-kind vintage sari throw comes from Rajasthan, India, where it was handmade by artisans from the cloth women use to adorn their bodies. The throw employs the Kantha stitch, a traditional technique derived from the way Bengali women mended old clothes. A strand of thread was plucked from the sari’s colorful border to create the unique design.-
