In creating the Abundance Baker, designer Kate Chung drew inspiration from the ancient Chinese belief that the earth is square and the heavens are round, which manifests stability and mobility, or yin and yang. Using porcelain, silicone, and bamboo, Chung translates this idea into a modern, canister that can be used to fashionably store food or even display flowers as an impromptu vase.
