Designed by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark, the AJ Table Lamp is a modern classic. The base of the lamp has a hole, which was originally intended to accommodate an ashtray. Without the ashtray, however, the hole adds elegance and lightness to the design. Featuring an asymmetrical shape and tilt-able head, this lamp is ideal for places where distinct and directed illumination is required.
Uses one 60 W A19 medium lightbulb (not included). Shade length: 13.8”. 8’ cord. On/off switch located on base.
Dust with a dry cloth.

Two years later, the duo was asked to light Copenhagen’s Forum Building—where the iconic PH 5 Lamp still hangs today. The brand now works with architects and designers globally on award-winning, innovative lighting solutions.
