When you hunker down into the Antelope, do it with the surefootedness of one who knows they’re sitting in a design classic. (But don’t be conceited about it.) Designed in 1951 for the “Festival of Britain” heralding the New Elizabethan spirit, this seat delighted crowds with its sculptural, playful form. Later, it won a silver medal at the tenth Triennale exhibition in Milan, and soon became an internationally recognized icon. (Fine, be conceited—you earned it.)
Seat Height: 18.5”.
