In 2007, Pisco, Peru was near the epicenter of an 8.0 magnitude earthquake that leveled much of the city. Two months later photographer Bear Guerra walked the city’s streets. “I came upon the ruins of one of the city's destroyed churches. I saw this man walk up and pause in front of the cross. It was a simple, quiet moment of beauty in the midst of ruin." A photograph for those with a conscience, a portion of the proceeds for each photo sold is donated to the American Red Cross to help with the Hurricane Sandy relief effort.
