Viktor Hertz is a graphic designer and artist from Uppsala, Sweden, and he specializes in deceptively simple logos and icons. This stretched canvas giclée pays homage to one of his favorite rock and roll legends of the past 50 years. Unlike any fan art we’ve ever seen, this pictogram challenges the viewer to match the icon to the song.

Born in 1983, Swedish graphic designer Viktor Hertz began honing his artistic skills in 2009, and by 2011 was completing designs for companies in New York, Stockholm, and Rio. An intellectual artist, his personal prints reinterpret films, albums, and other features of the pop-culture zeitgeist with clever visual metaphors that range from minimalist to dazzling.
