LA-based artist David Garibaldi began creating at a young age, though not always with the best intentions. After a start in the LA graffiti scene, in 2003, he began painting live at jazz sessions and nightclubs. Inspired by Danny Dent he eventually created a live stage show called “Rhythm and Hue” in which he paints six-foot portraits of pop stars in a matter of minutes. Part painter, part performance artist, Garibaldi has been featured by acts like Carlos Santana, and even opened for the Blue Man Group.
