American artist Joyce Tenneson is most well known for her mystical, sensual portraits of the female figure. Derek Jeter, a photograph published in the series, The Team that George Built: A Portfolio of the 1998 Yankees, may be a different kind of portrait, but it’s certainly just as gripping.
