As a young girl, Maggie Kleinpeter spent her childhood playing in the mud, basking in the sunlight, and being a girl scout in South Louisiana. Then, she grew up, went to college, fell in love with painting, moved to New York City, got an art degree, moved to Austin, Texas, and, fearing the nine-to-five grind and being held captive inside an office, she, along with superstar husband Michael, started Supermaggie. This whimsical giclee features several layers of screenprinted imagery. It’s a beautiful display of the artists’ connection to nature and dedication to her craft.

After meeting in college and graduating with art degrees, Maggie Kleinpeter and Michael Pittard got married and moved to Austin, TX. Fearing the nine-to-five grind, they founded Supermaggie in 2001. Their line of original, nature-inspired tees and tops for men and women reflects their shared sense of humor, artistic savvy, and appreciation for the great outdoors.
