Not content to limit its collaborations to one continent, fair-trade accessories brand Faire Collection has expanded its work from South America to Africa and Asia, too. The Brooklyn-based company worked with artisans in Vietnam to create the Ellington Bangle. Made from recycled bullhorn from local stockyards, it has an edgy, asymmetrical silhouette that has been dipped in paint for a striking color contrast.

In 2008, her findings inspired the business model for the Andean Collection.
