When it opened in 1947, the MEPRA factory in Northern Italy produced flatware exclusively from the region’s raw aluminum and brass. A switch to 18/10 stainless steel inspired further experimentation with materials, like durable, heat-resistant silicone—now considered an essential in most kitchens. Painstakingly produced in that family factory, the Energia Oro Flatware Set honors that time of transition in a tapered stainless steel shape. This crop of cutlery has durable construction to match its rich design heritage.
Set includes 1 table spoon, 1 table fork, 1 table knife, 1 salad fork, and 1 coffee spoon.
Backed by three generations of Italian tradition, MEPRA takes each piece from design to production in its Northern Italian factory. The company has earned numerous awards and the opportunity to collaborate with acclaimed designers like the late Angelo Mangiarotti.
