At the heart of pür cashmere’s collection is the superfine, impossibly soft fiber produced by the coats of Mongolian goats. Working directly with the region’s artisans, the company now weaves a varied range of materials into scarves, wraps, and throws that shine as both statement pieces and essentials. From the beach to the mountains to the city streets, the Fire on the Mountain Scarf will enliven and insulate an ensemble with a lightweight modal weave.
pür cashmere began 30 years ago when self-professed textile anthropologist Leslie Roth took an interest in Mongolia. The exquisitely soft cashmere, procured from goats raised on the country’s vast grasslands, became the basis of a line of textiles woven by Mongolian artisans. Today Roth’s luxe products are made from a range of fine fibers, including silk and bamboo.
