Pay your respects to an American icon with an accent lamp inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright. LightWave Laser uses a precision laser cutting machine to carve imagery from Wright’s archival drawings into wood, resulting in striking, harmonious geometric forms. Featuring handmade lotka paper adhered to a heat resistant sheet, the Robie House Sconce Lightbox references the light sconces found in Wright’s Frederick C. Robie House.

A part-time artist with an engineering background, Californian Ron Macken learned to use a laser cutter while working for a product manufacturer. In 2004, he gave into his creative side and launched LightWave Laser, a collection of fine wood accents laser-cut with his designs. He also makes designs based on archival drawings from the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
