You’ve organized a Secret Santa with your flag football team, but now you sort of regret it. Especially since your only bonding consists of losing badly on the field and commiseration at the local pub. But whether you draw the fixie-riding hipster or the Wall Street yuppie, you’ll have the perfect gift lined up. This pair of finger puppets are created in the likeness of famous painting pair Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Equipped with their accurate garb, these plush figures will feel like a much-deserved win.
The Unemployed Philosophers Guild can trace its roots back to Athens, when philosophers grew bored and decided to sell homemade housewares. More recently, the company can be traced to two brothers from the Lower East Side of Manhattan who wanted to make finger puppets to pay their rent. The Guild donates a portion of its proceeds to a number of different charities.
