Rather then abandoning old reads to the landfill, colorstory designs recycles magazines into delightfully tactile art objects. The beautiful Golden Gate Bridge Shadowbox features an intricately hand-cut Bay Area icon against a sun-soaked collage of discarded pages. Hang this layered piece on a wall or sit it upright on a table.

Amy Gibson and Andrea Read while working at an architecture firm in 2007. The creative women were fast friends and soon started colorstory designs as an outlet to collaborate artistically. In 2010, Andrea left colorstory designs to pursue a new career, but Amy continues to create their signature recycled magazine art and goodies from her Bainbridge Island, WA home.
