Fishs Eddy has come a long way since its first line of salvaged dishware. The Manhattan-based brand now collaborates with the likes of Todd Oldham, who is celebrated for rediscovering and reviving Charley Harper’s iconic mid-century illustrations of natural subjects. Designed by Oldham exclusively for Fishs Eddy, this set of placemats reintroduces one of Harper’s minimal yet captivating renderings.
Set of 2. Cork base. Features an illustration by American modernist Charley Harper (1922-2007), best known for his work in school biology textbooks in the 1950s.

Fishs Eddy began in 1986 with a line of dishware salvaged from a barn fire. At the permission of the owner (who deemed the dishes useless), the founders scrubbed away the soot to discover classic pieces of Americana—the basis for today’s kitschy, eclectic collection. Based in the heart of New York City, Fishs Eddy continues to thrive on embracing the unexpected.
