Designed by David Dear, the hourglass desk clock has a striking appearance and feels substantial when held. Not flimsy like clocks made entirely of plastic, this one is constructed with steel. A red indicator line on the bottom half shows hours, while the top half indicates minutes. Seconds rotate above. Also impressive about the piece is the accuracy with which it tells time—check it each day against your computer and you’ll see that the clock is right on the mark.
Requires two AA batteries, not included. Not an alarm clock. Opening up the clock to insert a battery or adjust time is easy to do—turn the top metal cover roughly 45 degrees and gently pull upwards.
