One of seven lighthouses built along the Hudson River to aid navigation, the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse was designed in the Second Empire architectural style, with a mansard roof. After it was constructed in 1873, lightkeepers lived in this two-story dwelling up until 1949. Since then, the light has run on a timer, allowing it to go unattended. This reproduction giclée print from Old Blueprints captures the intricate details of the original plan in traditional white on blue.
