In the aftermath of 9/11, Milton Glaser’s re-design of his most famous slogan became the number one symbol of the city’s healing process. He says: “This was my reaction to the events of Sept. 11, 2001. I hope it helps.” Updated with the words “more than ever” and a black smudge seen at the lower corner of the iconic red heart, this giclée print is a defining design that resonates with all New Yorkers—whether you live in the Big Apple or not.
