Gear Box Robots gives life to discarded antique fragments by assembling them as one-of-a-kind automatons. These pieces consist of pre-existing industrial and commercial objects, repurposed in whimsical robot designs. Named after a famous builder of Hindu temples (including the Bayon temple at Angkor Wat), Jayavarman brings a regal symbolism to his industrial form. Even his eyes flash, perhaps as a sign of enlightenment.
Batteries included. Original sculpture from Gear Box Robots composed of various up-cycled objects. This product is crafted from repurposed vintage materials.
