In photographer Kevin Tachman’s words: "Stilt fishing is difficult work. The stilts are uncomfortable and fishermen must perch for hours, requiring great patience. Truth is, fishing usually bores me to death. But on this day, the lure was irresistible as the clouds mixed to a color I'd never seen before. So I offered some cigarettes to the fishermen as a thank you and waded out to get my shot." A photograph for those with a conscience, a portion of the proceeds for each photo sold is donated to the American Red Cross to help with the Hurricane Sandy relief effort.
