David Trubridge’s lighting is the illuminated embodiment of his fascination with nature. The stunning, teardrop-shaped Koura Pendant was designed to emulate the curled up fresh water shrimp in New Zealand’s rivers, as well as the woven traps used to catch them. It consists of identical pieces of hand-sanded bamboo laminate that connect with plastic clips into a three-dimensional masterpiece. This lamp arrives in a compact self-assembly kit, minimizing its carbon footprint to respect planet that inspired it.
