David Favrod was born to a Japanese mother and a Swiss father. Upon turning 18, he requested dual citizenship from Japan and was denied. He became inspired to create the series titled Gaijin, meaning “foreign” or “alien.” L’envolee de Poussins is part of that collection. This high-quality giclée print comes to us from Aperture, a nonprofit organization committed to the advancement of photography.
