Founded by one of fashions most influential (and enigmatic) designers, Maison Martin Margiela is known for avant-garde clothing and retail spaces. Line 13, the brand’s collection of home objects, demonstrates a remarkable blend of minimalism and insouciant humor. The Claustrophobic Journal reflects Margiela’s deconstructive tendencies. It’s spiral bound on both sides, preventing opening. In order to put pen to paper, the user must rip one side of the cover and so on to release the pages.
