Wolfgang is rendered here nine times over, different in every panel, each in a Pop-inspired palette that leaves us with visions of Mozart played within and outside the lines, on and off page. This celebratory image was created for the Mostly Mozart Music Festival, a series now in its 66th year! In 1954, with several university classmates, Milton Glaser co-founded the legendary Push Pin Studios, whose work would define modern graphic design. His work is bold, pared-down and yet highly expressive. It is usually as distinct as each client and leaps between media styles.
