Fueled by a Master’s in historic preservation and a fervent desire to resuscitate vintage artifacts, Sarah Polster created cushionchicago. The company has a keen eye for design that endures—be that a small swatch of needlework or an cast metal chandelier—and a talent for introducing old objects into a contemporary context. The resulting collection of revived vintage treasures represents a transformative journey—not only for the objects themselves, but also in the way we view them.
The Needlework line celebrates the incredible passion put into original needlework years ago and introduces it into the modern home. This pillow features a salvaged needlework crafted by unknown artist “MPZ” in 1970. Vintage fabric on front and new olive green solid cotton velvet on back. Hidden zipper enclosure. Includes 90% down/10% feather-filled insert. This product is crafted from repurposed vintage materials.
