Created in 1971, the Panthella Table Lamp is characteristic of Verner Panton’s penchant for smooth shapes and curvilinear forms. The lamp’s slender shaft and hemispheric shade contribute to its well-balanced proportions, and the scale of the shade is slightly smaller to provide a more consistent design for tabletop placement. One of Panton’s more popular pieces, the Panthella’s lighting characteristics make it suitable for general illumination or tasks such as reading.
Assembly required. Uses one 75 W A19 lightbulb (not included). 9’ cord. Inline on/off switch.
Dust with a dry cloth.
In 1924, Louis Poulsen was running an electrical supply business when he worked with Poul Henningsen on a decorative art exhibition in Paris. Two years later, the duo was asked to light Copenhagen’s Forum Building—where the iconic PH 5 Lamp still hangs today. The brand now works with architects and designers globally on award-winning, innovative lighting solutions.
