The desert oasis of Khotan was long a major hub on the Silk Road. Made famous by its rug weaving and trading posts, the bustling center became a multicultural mix of East Asian and Middle Eastern goods, beliefs and, of course, designs. Khotan-style rugs are, like their native land, a blend of influences from across the Asian continent. Fittingly, this floor rug has been patched together from traditional, overdyed rugs.
Newly made from vintage rugs.
