Italian design master Vico Magistretti created the gently curved silhouette of this height-adjustable Maui chair for Kartell in 2005. Its swiveling, subtly arched polypropylene seat has a dramatically cinched center, creating a minimalist, hourglass-like shape, and is supported by a chrome-plated steel frame with distinctive arms and rolling casters. Lightweight and versatile, the polished piece was one of Magistretti’s final products.

Among Kartell’s most iconic designs are Philippe Starck’s Louis Ghost chair and Ferruccio Laviani’s Bourgie lamp.
