Paris-based L’Atelier d’exercices collaborates with notable designers, authors, stylists, and architects to create objects that experiment with conceptions of storage, memory, space, and more. The Ring Calendar by Sebastian Bergne is part of an exercise in perceptions of measurement. Born in Tehran in 1966, Sebastian Bergne is known for simple, paired-down products with a hint of playfulness. The London designer opened his studio in 1990 after graduating from the Royal College of Art, and has since partnered with international brands like MUJI, Vitra and De Beers. Bernge’s work is in the permanent collections of MoMA and London’s Design Museum.
