Avid toy collector and self-professed graffiti geek Paul Bishop always wanted to develop his own figures using English bone china in place of vinyl or plastic. In October 2012, the founder of The New English brought that dream to fruition with the debut of the Seemore family. They’re cute, but not too cute. Take Kanako for example. Though she’s made of the finest china, this geisha’s disposition is anything but delicate—don’t leave alone her around Gran’s tchotchkes.
