The Shayk pendant was inspired by classic Safavid and Islamic architecture. The intricate honeycomb-like pattern applies ancient motifs to modern materials—a deceptively delicate-looking, high-tech synthetic paper that can be assembled in several different shapes. This statement-making, oversized piece was designed by avant-garde Danish architect and designer Amanda Betz, and is her first collaboration with L.A.’s Artecnica.
