Designer Molly Condit recalls a visit to Massaca, Mozambique, where she witnessed the resourcefulness of local children building toys of discarded cans and trash. This practice of extraordinary upcycling lives on in her jewelry, which is constructed of vintage watch parts, typewriter keys and foreign coins. A twist on the traditional cufflink, this version employs vintage oval watch faces with exposed gears; just enough detail to put some steampunk in that suit.
Vintage-inspired with some vintage parts. Watch parts may vary from those in photo. Cufflink backs are silver-plated brass with 15mm flat tops. 10% of proceeds will be donated to the Pawsitively Cats animal rescue organization in Tucson, AZ.
