Originally designed by Henry Massonnet in 1968, a time when plastic was taking over the design world, the Tam Tam Stool was a proud French product launched with the help of the one and only Brigitte Bardot. Falling out of production after the oil crisis of ’73, this iconic stool was resurrected by Branex Design in 2002. Using the same factory as the original Tam Tam manufacturer, Sacha Cohen and the designers at Branex put their own spin on the Tam Tam, adding a bright pop finish that brings life—and design history—to your space. Designed exclusively for Fab.
Stool supports up to 330 lbs.
Wipe with a damp cloth.
Branex Design began in 2002 with the rebirth of an icon: Henry Massonnet’s 1968 Tam Tam stool, an hourglass-shaped plastic perch produced in the same French factory as the original. Helmed by Sacha Cohen, the company has gone on to reissue other classic pieces while developing its own line of futuristic furnishings by young contemporary designers like Eric Berthès.
