This dual-sided vintage 1960s health chart features the words “Tobacco, Alcohol and Drugs” with illustrations pertaining to the dangers of using these substances. The other side is titled, “Radiation” and features a chart of the different types of radiation, as well as information about its effects. Printed on thick, nearly paperboard weight paper, this chart is retro art in its own right and a reminder of all the things that are bad for us.

The chart is from “CRAM New Era Charts for the Teaching and Development of Health, Safety and Personality.” Illustrations are by Ernest W. Beck with consulting from textbook author, James H. Otto. This well-preserved chart is a large poster size. Typical imperfections consistent with age and use.
