One of the most important industrial designers of the 20th century, Achille Castiglioni is perhaps best known for the visionary lamps he created for FLOS. A master of modern lighting, he often adapted, referenced, or improved upon existing objects in his inventive, witty work. Castiglioni and his brother, Pier Giacomo, designed the Toio floor lamp in 1962. Inspired by a car reflector, it has a steel base, nickel-plated brass stem, and telescopic head.
Base is 8.26” square. Head of lamp is 6.69” in diameter. Height adjustable from 62.2” to 76.77”.
