Renowned artist and illustrator Ernest Dryden created the subtle tones of this 1940s menu for the champagne house of Veuve A. Devaux. Ernest Dryden was born Ernst Deutsch in 1887, studied with the celebrated Gustav Klimt and eventually made his name as a poster designer in Berlin in the years before WW I.
