Paul Cocksedge studied product design at the Royal College of Art under his mentor, Ron Arad. His fluid, spellbinding work—which has been featured at MoMA, the V&A, and the Design Museum in London—spans installations, window displays, and household objects. This plastic Volume Loudspeaker Speaker was crafted in his East London studio. The device’s carefully calibrated shape enhances music from a smartphone without the use of wires or electricity. Hang the feather-light device in mid-air for ambient listening, or use its angled foot on a table for more direct sound.
Each piece is hand-made so variance in color, finish, irregularities and abnormalities can occur.
