A socialite, heiress, actress, and model, Edie Sedgwick has retains her place as perhaps Andy Warhol’s most famous muse. After starring in a number of Warhol’s short films, Sedgwick was coined an “It Girl” in the mid ’60s and began exploring Manhattan’s glamorous nightlife with Warhol. A sad story, Edie’s lifestyle included rampant drug consumption, which is believed to be the cause of her untimely death in 1971.
