Created just years before his untimely death, Andy Warhol’s Rorschach paintings are notable for their abstract nature. While Warhol turned to exploring abstract forms later in his career, it’s interesting that he chose not a wholly abstract subject, but one laden with psychological connotations. It’s a choice that could be seen as grounding this series in the same space of reality-based abstraction that Warhol explored in his more famous Pop Art reproductions of Campbell’s soup cans and Brillo boxes.
This digital reproduction print is created with vibrant colorfast inks. Framed in 2-inch deep black vinyl. Mounting hardware not included.
