During his long and storied career, photographer Frank Worth became great friends with many of Hollywood’s top stars, including Marilyn Monroe, captured here—alongside legendary director Billy Wilder—in an iconic black-and-white still from 1953. Joe DiMaggio apparently objected to Marilyn’s panties being seen, so this photo was released only once, for the front page of the Hollywood Reporter. Nobody else complained.
