An innovative design studio that specializes in using new, complex technology, Nervous System reinterprets the amazing and beautiful things found in nature. Feast your science-minded eyes on the striking Vessel Necklace. Fresh and bold in bright red, this design is based on the vein structures found in leaves. Its elegant, lightweight white nylon crescent is suspended from a sterling silver cable chain (laced between the nylon layers) and rests just below the collarbone.

Founded in 2007 by two MIT alumni, Nervous System makes jewelry inspired by nature’s intricate forms. The digital designs are generated by a complex computer, and then brought to life using 3D-printing methods. Its designs can be found at retailers like the MoMA Design Store and the Hammer Museum.
