This ornate Alien Workshop deck features pro-skater Anthony Van Engelen’s mug flanked by Andy Warhol’s portrait from his Factory days as the board’s top graphic. The bottom of the deck displays Warhol’s epic skull series in hues of black, pink and the mostly prominent blue. Thought to be inspired by Picasso, who spent his own blue-soaked period, Warhol’s fascination with death, skulls and pop-icons that’d topped their last tabloid, makes for a poignant board.
This deck is the result of a collaboration between Alien Workshop and The Andy Warhol Foundation. The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts was established in 1987. In accordance with Andy Warhol’s will, its mission is the advancement of the visual arts. Includes no trucks or wheels.
